Alligood Family Recipes Book

52 recipes made by different members of the Alligood family spanning generations, across five categories: appetizers, mains, sides, desserts, and drinks. Written and designed by myself.
I hand lettered the text on the cover and in the chapter titles throughout the book. The typography throughout the book was chosen and developed to call back on art deco design styles from the Harlem Renaissance, but with a modern twist.
Each chapter has its own monochromatic color scheme to differentiate them from each other: orange/yellow for appetizers, purple for mains, pink for sides, green for desserts, and blue for drinks.
