Leah Alligood is a New York based graphic designer, illustrator, and mixed-media artist. Her work across all disciplines is vibrant and expressive, while creating order through systems of organization and an eye for detail.

In her fine art practice she creates mixed-media paintings and fiber arts and draws influence from culture, family histories, and nature.

​

She received her BFA from Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in 2021. Since graduating she has worked as a freelance graphic designer, worked full time as an in-house designer at BitOGenius Inc, a startup toy and mobile games company, and created several works of fine arts including paintings, prints, and fiber arts.

 

At the end of 2024 she attended Kaaysá Art Residency in Brazil for 3 months, where she honed my skills in fiber arts, surface design, fashion design, and painting.

Leah currently works as a freelance graphic designer, artist and studio assistant, and mixed-media artist, and is available for commissions and design work.
